God’s perfect son who willingly came to Earth to save people like you and me.
God created the world, and therefore is justly able to set the standards for how we are to live. All people on Earth fall short of what God has commanded of us, and because of this, cannot experience complete unity with God. Instead we walk this Earth empty and broken, and await a future of destruction for the evil we’ve thought and done. God desires so much more for us! That’s why He sent His son to die in our place. He took the punishment that we deserved for our sins to reunite us with God in spirit now and in heaven for the life to come. The only way to access this hope is through Jesus! To live in unity with Him we must believe that He is who He says He is and that He died for our sins. This is based solely on faith and not works! This belief is how you can be saved.

Live our life to make much of this good, loving God rather than to glorify ourselves.There are many ways we do this, but the first is that we turn from a life of living in rebellion of God, and instead start walking with Him. This includes actively turning away from the sins (wrongdoings) in our life and turning towards things that help us know Him, such as reading His word to us (the Bible) and gathering to celebrate, commune with and learn about him(church).
The Bible is very clear that we aren’t meant to do this life alone! So if you have recently given your life to Christ, we’d encourage you to get involved in a church! It doesn’t have to be ours, but we would love to have you!
One thing we would love to walk through with you is Baptism. Baptism is an outward symbol of the inner change that happens when you give your life to Christ. Just like you die to your old life and are born anew in Christ, you will be submerged in water and then raised back up. This is an important step of obedience for a believer and also serves to announce your new faith to the church.
