Worship Pastor
Josh earned his church music degree at Cumberland College in Williamsburg, KY and has a passion toward leading and teaching worship through music. He enjoys anything game related (sports, board, video, and card games). Josh's favorite food is anything spicy.
Josh lives in Independence, KY with his lovely bride - Katie and three young sons, Shepard, Corbin, and Bennett.

Ministry Assistant
Katie earned a Business Degree from Southern Ohio College. One of her favorite things about her position as ministry assistant is being able to engage and help others day to day. She loves the connection! Other passions include reading, spending time with family and friends, and shopping, as well as traveling and hiking adventures in The Red River Gorge.
Katie lives in Independence, KY with her husband, Josh, and three sons, Shepard, Corbin, and Bennett.

Trevor holzschuh
College ANd Career Pastor
As he was studying Journalism at Northern Kentucky University, Trevor felt the Lord calling him to full time college and career ministry. Trevor has attended and been a member at Christ Baptist Church since 2016. As he was working odd jobs and exploring what full time ministry would look like in his life, Trevor was a leader in helping to launch Christ Culture in the fall of 2020. Trevor is now a North American Mission Board (NAMB) sponsored missionary and works with our college students and young adults here at Christ Baptist Church and has a passion for reaching NKU and Thomas More's campus with the Gospel message of Jesus Christ!
When Trevor isn't doing ministry, he loves spending time with his wife, Morgan, playing and watching sports, playing board and card games, watching crime shows and action movies, is starting to learn to really enjoy reading, and loves spending time with family, friends, and loved ones!

Desirae Houben
Director of Family and Community Outreach
Desirae earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from Cincinnati Christian University. After teaching in several school districts, she felt called to children’s and youth ministry, with a desire to support the growing families of Christ Baptist Church. A member of Christ Baptist since 2020, Desirae is passionate about guiding kids toward a relationship with Christ and enjoys discovering the wonder of God alongside the kids and youth she serves.
When she’s not involved in ministry, Desirae loves going on adventures with her husband, Joe, and their son, Xavier. She has a heart for the city and enjoys cheering on the Cincinnati Reds and Cyclones. When she’s not in the city, you can often find her kayaking or fishing. Her other hobbies include biking, cooking, and photography.
